On Friday, K had her first Kindergarten field trip to the National Zoo. I took the day off and went with her. We had a big time and saw all the animals, including the tigers. On Sunday, Morgan had a soccer game in Fredericksburg which is about an hour south of here. Don't worry all you doctors, nurses, and other worried souls, Kerrie did not make the trip.

Here is a "baby" elephant (it's 7 years old) with his mom. And on the left is the mom weighing in at 4,700 and change.


The hippo peaked up at us and then wanted dinner (see below). The alligator snapping turtle on the right just smiled for the camera.
