Thanksgiving in Virginia Beach

Yesterday, Carter went on his first road trip. We got up around 5 and headed a couple of hundred miles south to Virginia Beach to Johnny and Christy's house. He slept the whole way, unlike his two sisters who watched Wall-E and The Clone Wars. Good choices.
Also, I put up two other posts this morning so be sure to scroll down and see all of them.

We got there just in time for the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Since I can't get K to sit with me to watch the whole thing anymore, I grabbed Carter, who can't walk yet.

K did slow down long enough to see the Little Mermaid broadway performance. She also later stopped by to see Miley. I'll wait a couple of seconds for you to get over the shock.

The great-grandmothers.

Gran with Carter.

Great-grandmother Fields with C and Mo.

C sleeping next to Granddad and Grahamie.

C with Grahamie and Granmomma.

And the madness begins . . .

Apparently, we were feeding our family and 16 others. That, my friends, is a lot of dressing.

Gran telling Micah the exact way to roll the bread.

After lunch, there was a little Xbox playing - Lego Star Wars - again, another good choice.

And then the trampoline jumping began - apparently K thought this involved Yoga.

Here are K's moves.

And K crashes.

And then K gets some pointers from Mo.

And here are Mo's moves.

. . . and her crash.

And K tries to keep up . . . including a nice flip.

And then . . . static electricity took over.

Night falls and the glow sticks came out.

And Carter was done. 3 1/2 hours to get home - no crying there either.
