The Sneaux Post

Two Sundays ago, we got our first big snow since being back in DC. A total of around 7 and a half inches fell over night on Sunday and through the day on Monday. The girls were out of school. I, of course, was at work at 730 Monday morning. But we were still able to get some good sledding and snow angels in before dark though. By Friday, all the snow was gone and it was in the mid-70's all weekend. Now, four days later, we are going to get snow flurries overnight tonight. And yes, I expect to be sick by Saturday.

Photos taken with my cell phone on the way to work. It was a little nasty. And no yacking about taking pictures while driving...as you can see, the light was red.

From my office window.

Meanwhile, back at home, the girls were taking lovely scenic photos . . .

. . . and measuring out the snow . . .
. . . and taking out the trash.
And yes, Kerrie will be angry that this video is now on the blog.

No cooking out today.

Or laying out on the back porch. I particularly like the neatly piled snow on the water fountain.
'K in her pajamas with her snowball . . . that still resides in our freezer to this day.

Oh yes . . . the snow angel.

A front seat view of a rather slow ride down the hill.

Did I mention the snow was deep?

Another sled ride with a rather ominous prediction by K.

After a bit, K got tired and just plopped herself down in the snow. It cracked me up since, when she did it, she literally sunk halfway down.
