Last week, my cousin (forty times removed I think is what we have decided) Claude Burns came into town for a function and took some time out to visit with us and my mom who was also in town. CB had never met Carter and had not seen K since 2003 when she was younger than C. As you can see above, those two hit it off immediately (well almost immediately since C stared CB down for a good 10 minutes in the car without blinking). We had a wonderful lunch and then took a riding tour of DC. The next day, he and I had lunch again, this time to do some much needed "lawyer talk" that unfortunately doesn't happen as often as it needs to. Great spending time with CB--just a wonderful visit.
