During the girl's spring break, our crew piled up and headed north for a 3-day tour of New York City. Of course, our 3 days were also the 3 days of record flooding in the area. Welcome to NYC! We made the most of what we were given and had a great time. I was the only one of the 5 who had ever been so I served as the tour guide. Thankfully, we made it out alive. Above is a picture from our hotel room in Jersey on the last morning we were there. It was the first time we could actually see the skyline of Manhattan.

Our first morning there, we were watching ESPN as we were getting ready and Mo happened to see that the Nets were playing at home (about 10 minutes from our hotel) and just happened to be playing our Spurs. And right then, we had plans for the night.

Tuesday was just awful. Torrential downpours. So stuck in the hotel room we were.

Wednesday morning, as we are packing up to leave, we get these views. Go figure.






So off to Manhattan we went.
